Hey Nancy...awesome post...did I write it (just kidding!)? My sentiments exactly. As someone who knows how "to do", I have had the same feelings lately too. Thanks for the reminder that "in being" I rock, to embrace uncertainty and...to trust the heart that has loved me all of my life...you rock!!

Breathtaking Beauty~
Confidence in Nature and Ourselves...

In some ways, the basis of confidence can be found in Nature, because it demands nothing, in fact we are killing it and it keeps on despite this fact. If you wake up, and look out your window on an early morn, you may see the blue with pink clouds and a Autumn tree silloetted. You may hear the familiar three-note chirp of the hummingbird as she readies for a day of flying and feeding. These are moments that build deep in our spirits a honest faith in life and it's continuation beyond our personal problems and victories...

you can try this exercise: Lie down in a quiet space without music, phones on a comfortable surface like a blanket or carpet, but not your bed! Swallow so that your throat is relaxed; allow the eyelids to lower toward your heart; when you are comfortable, simply
begin to observe your breath, without manipulating it or conciously trying to do anything with it; simply observe the soft inhalations and exhalations...if you find that you are projecting your mind into the future or the past, simply note that fact and come back to your observation of your breath; stay here for 10-15 minutes and then allow your awareness to come back to the surface once again, slowly becoming aware of your breath (you forgot it when you were deeply letting go) and come back to the sensations of the body...take a deep inhalation and a deep exhalation and roll and rest to the right side, staying for a few moments before using an inhalation to slowly (with eyes closed) come to a seated position...stay seated and quiet for a few minutes and notice any changes in attitude/perception you may have experienced; you may experience yourself as more expanded, more balanced, more energized...

This is the 'ground' of confidence; pure, simple being without 'doing' is the basis for all honest and sincere and detached actions in the world!
